Terms of Service
Moonlit Storybook provides personalized bedtime stories, narration, and related digital content for families. By using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Who may use the service
- The service is intended for parents, guardians, or other adults authorized to make decisions for a household.
- You must ensure that information you provide is lawful, accurate, and something you are allowed to share, including information related to a child or family context.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
2. The service
Moonlit Storybook offers tools to generate bedtime briefs, story text, narration, dynamic storybook pages, story history, and related subscription access based on user input. Our goal is to help families create calmer, more repeatable bedtime routines.
The product is still evolving. Features, wording, pricing, payment paths, and generation capabilities may change, be added, limited, or removed over time.
3. Generated content and acceptable use
- Generated content depends on user inputs and model outputs and may not always be accurate, complete, or suitable for every situation.
- You are responsible for deciding whether generated content is appropriate for your household and child.
- You may not use the service to generate, request, or distribute unlawful, infringing, abusive, hateful, sexual, fraudulent, or otherwise inappropriate content.
- You may not attempt to bypass system restrictions, abuse billing flows, scrape the service, reverse engineer private interfaces, or interfere with service stability.
4. Accounts, subscriptions, and payments
- Some features require you to create an account.
- Paid features may include one-time credit packs, monthly subscriptions, or future premium moment offerings.
- You agree to pay the price, currency, billing interval, and taxes shown at checkout.
- Payments are processed by third-party payment or merchant-of-record providers such as Creem, Stripe, and PayPal, and related billing or tax rules may also be governed by their terms.
5. Refunds and cancellations
Unless required by law, or expressly stated at checkout, in payment-provider terms, or in subscription-management flows, payments are generally not automatically refundable.
When you cancel a subscription, renewal will usually stop at the end of the current billing period. Whether previously granted entitlements remain available depends on checkout disclosures and applicable law.
6. Intellectual property
- The service itself, including the interface, brand, software, design, and site content, belongs to Moonlit Storybook or its licensors.
- Subject to these terms and any required payment, you may use content you lawfully generate through the service for personal, family, and non-resale use.
- If your input infringes another person's rights, you are responsible for that infringement.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or that generated content will meet any specific educational, medical, psychological, legal, or professional purpose.
The service is not medical advice, therapy, legal advice, or professional parenting advice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. If the law does not allow certain exclusions, those exclusions apply only to the extent permitted.
9. Updates and contact
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page. If you continue using the service after an update takes effect, you accept the updated terms. For questions, contact support@bedtimeduet.com.
